hi there,
you have to name the darwin directory 6.0 because you are on OSX 10.2 without the update. I am doing development on a machine with the update (bring the darwin kernel up to 6.1) and the make system detects your system. You can also make a symbolic link to darwin 6.1.

Yes, that's right, I forgot about the ode opengl headers thing. The ln -s thing is the best solution if you don't have X darwin installed (which was on my system so I did not notice).

Hi there, Are you guys working with the regular CVS tree? I have massaged the Makefiles and source a bit and posted a version to the cvs01 tree that should compile on OSX 10.2 Jaguar boxes if you follow the directions in the readme.txt. At least at the moment, I have a working setup with ODE physics...

If you want to use Blender on Mac OSX, you are probably better of using the last official OSX beta Blender for the moment.

Hi there,

The Verisign registration process (for both ActiveX and Netscape plug-ins) is expensive long and tedious as we found out when applying in our NaN days. However, I can't think of a reason why the Blender Foundation can not apply for Verisign approval.

Blender starts but all mouse and keyboard events are received by the Finder. I think this is an SDL problem that has been fixed in a newer version. Is the app an OSX bundle already? This is typical when you run the binary without it being in a bundle. The makefiles should create the bundle for you ...

I will help if people start working on it (I have been working on the Active X control).

I will work on it. I think the last beta was build on OSX 10.1.5. I am trying to install OSX at home at the moment and see what the issues are. It should work but I understand that the step from 10.1.5 to 10.2 is rather big. Basically you don't need anything, just the developer tools that come with ...

Yes it is, the Active X control (Internet Explorer) can be build using the M$VC project files. The project file if called "GP_axctl", source is in source\gameengine\GamePlayer\ActiveX. The Netscape plug-in source is build using the Makefiles with source in source\gameengine\GamePlayer\netscape. Dire...
