Feature Request: Time for a System Console Update?

The console is still a very integral part of Blender at the moment. A lot of information is displayed there that cannot be accessed anywhere else. However the DOS box is clunky, (if you close the command prompt it closes Blender! AHHH! Luckily Blender's auto saves work very well, can't tell you how ...

Why reinvent the wheel? Because rubber wheels work better than wooden ones. The point of my method is that there is almost no setup, no other programs. I know that there are other solutions out there, however in my case I was in a hurry and didn't have time, or at least didn't feel like I had time t...

First, My Idea: [/u] Requirements: -X number of computers hooked to a basic network. -A shared folder, either on the server, or on one of the computers to render all frames to as images (png's or jpg's or whatever). What is needed in Blender -A setting in Blender so that as the computers are render...

I may not know what I'm talking about sparkus, but I think this might have branched off before some of that hdr support was implemented. It seems to me this is a lot more of a testing features build, kind of like Tuhopuu is/was, and doesn't neccessarily have all the official features. But not to wor...

Works for me.
Ok, I deleted my b.blend file and it worked. Don't know why that caused it, but thanks for the feedback.

So do we submit bugs to the bug tracker? What if it is a really lengthy description and I'm not quite sure what is wrong, and can't recreate it without going through about 15 steps on the same pre-existing model?

Sounds good, except the sub surfs weren't working in the test build. Not that that is a really big deal, but you can't see exactly what it looks like. I don't know if that should be submitted as a bug, or where it should be submitted.

Question about compatability

I'm just starting to rig my Yoda model that some may have seen, in Blender 2.37. I was wondering if the new animation and armature system overhaul will be backward compatable. In other words, should I wait for the next release before I rig? Usually Blender is very good with backwards compatability, ...

VERY simple feature request

Could there be a shortcut key to turn off/on auto keyframing when you manipulate an object? Is there one now I don't know about?

View Interface when doing CGI

This is something that we have been talking about over at Blenderwars.com for a little while, but this is my first time posting this suggestion here. When we are putting Blender objects in front of high resolution video, a lot of times it is nice to be able to zoom in and place that CGI Blank exactl...
