Hello LetterRip, LetterRip wrote: I'd suggest storing everything inside of the blend file instead of external. I think you are right. It seems to be better all files inside blender. But for the production of the tutorial i think it's easier to handle if the files are outside blender. But I will thin...

hello, I'm sorry but there is a little mistake: make a plane, extrude edges to make a cube, than in object-mode make an original cube. If you than make a boolean difference (W3) you get an union and if you make a union (W2) you get a difference. This happens if one object is extruded. WINXP !THINK! ...

hallo, i agree with joeri. But maybe a little spacehandler-script could show a way to the solution. Load this little script and start the spacehandler. Then, if you dobbleclick LMB in 3DVIEW it's like pushing the BKEY. So you can select objects with your mouse only. # SPACEHANDLER.VIEW3D.EVENT impor...

Hi LetterRip, thx for your reply and the helpfull links. I'm still working on the idea to use blender itself for the development and showing of tutorials. What I'm not going to to is to develop a macrorecorder or something that need to be coded in C, because for that I'm not realy good enough. Next ...

Timeline play in Python
Hi,
is there an API-function for the play-button in the timelinewindow?
It's not the scene.play()-function!
When you use the timeline play-button, then your cursor doesn't change to a viewer of the framenumber. So you have allways full access to all in Blender.

Hallo I'm begging for feedback. I was wondering if Blender itself could be used for an interaktive tutorialsystem. And so I've tried to realize this idea. You will find the result here: http://www.mohr-webhome.de/blender/tutorial.zip The tutorial itself is in German, but there is a readme.txt and in...
