I use Blender on my macbook, and it mostly works fine - the sound thing in the sequencer - Ive found the best way to retain synch is to export it as a soundtrack only quicktime and leave the khz on 44 even if your sound is 48 - those buttons just seem to stretch the sound and pitch, probably needs l...

Very good post and addition to the wiki! This says most of what I would have if id taken the time.... the sequencer is an excellent fast editor and with some simple improvements along these lines could be brilliant.. the only things id like to add are Some sort of multiple timeline ability - named c...

Hi Stiv, thanks for your reply, sorry if I sound frustrated but I am, I thought that features included in the releases were no longer under development and were considered safe to use,,, I will look into filing bug reports as I would like to contribute more to the development of blender, I'm not sur...

compositor breakdown
Is it just me, or is everybody having the same level of problems with the compositor? I am trying to combine a few render layers using z-combine and fades with a displace and no matter which way I string the noodle, it either crashes during edit time or almost certainly a few frames into animation r...

Sorry LetterRip the scripts are generated by Syntheyes for each scene you motion track. You just load them in the text editor and run them - it then moves the camera according to the track you got in Syntheyes and loads a bunch of tracking marks as empties and a background plate, which is where it s...

Syntheyes import broken

Looks like Syntheyes 2007 scripts wont work in 2.43 - bombs out with syntax errors on image types - guess the new stuff has new words or some such, current workaround - import into 242a and save a .blend to reopen in new version.....

left right mouse confusion with tabletpc (and wacom i guess)
Hello, ive used blender for about 4 years in a studio environment, and i've never used it with the default 'right mouse select' - I always just changed the option to the one that matches most other software i use (i did try it for a while, but when you're working quickly, flipping between applicatio...

hey jedrzej, thanks for looking at and enjoying our work, some of it is done with blender, but not all, much after effects and other stuff - whatever it takes to do it, i just like to use blender as it has a great interface and a wholesome feeling of belonging.... im not from poland, but proudly bea...

can i record ik armature movement in the ipo mouse capture?
hello, ive already posted this on elysiun, but had no response, so i thought maybe someone here might know about this..... one of the best features of blender is to be able to record mouse movement in up to two dimensions, even rotation, in real time. What i would like to do is to animate the end of...

eek has anybody got a simpler solution to this, i only fixed the script by accident, i know not what or how it's worked, but id like other people to use it. For instance, if anybody has a good file repository, ill gladly email them the .py file and if you link it here or anywhere, anyone who wants t...
