Is BA down?

Sorry to post here in the dev forums, but I can't get Blenderartists to load. Is their server down or something?

Thanks

Hi, I'm having a similar problem, when I try to select a certain vertex, a completely different vertex is selected from the one I click on. If I turn off the button that toggles the visible selection mode, then I have no problem clicking and selecting the vertices I want. I have only noticed the pro...

You're on the wrong site. Go to http://www.blenderartists.org/forum/. This forum is for Blender development issues.

Actually, at the rate that Blender gets new advanced features, even 2 years might not be long enough to really learn the software well. I'm constantly having to learn the new tools and features in each release. So don't expect any miracles!

Oops, nobody mentioned SharpConstruct..

It would be useful, since it's not yet integrated into Blender.

Can't you use "remove doubles"?

Anyway, these forums aren't for user questions. Try asking over at Blenderartists.org forums.

Sure, I'll explain what I meant. With a style, you can define a certain font, font size, and color, then apply that style to several blocks of text. It just makes formatting more consistent. Then, for example, if you decide later to change the size of the font or the color for that style, any text b...

joetainment: First of all, don't take what I say personal... :) With that said-- It gets really tiring hearing people rant about how "unintuitive" Blender's interface is. It's all been discussed a thousand times. See for example, this thread: http://www.blender.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8309&highlig...

What are you talking about? I did try the software. Anyway, I was just sharing my opinion, and offering some suggestions. I'm not "pretending" anything.....

Hey, this looks pretty cool, and I love the snapping features and the layer system. But I don't think it's really ready for any serious desktop publishing. Consider these features which are a MUST for serious layout people: Ability to save or export document as a PDF file Different color modes such ...
