Amazingly this post is from 2003, but the problems raised here still seem to be true! I have recently come over from Maya, and unfortunately the Blender NURBS system seems to be missing some stuff like fillet. Not that I'm complaining, but it means if you want to do NURBS modelling you might be bett...

Follow up

I just wanted to follow this up.

I'm no longer having this issue. I'm not sure what has changed specifically, but I am using one of the graphicall.org builds:

Off topic, but need help with blenderartists.org

I know this doesn't really belong here, so apologies in advance. HOWEVER, this problem is driving me absolutely mad. I can't post anything on the Blender Artists forum. I have tried to follow the steps here: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3456 However, when I try to reply to this f...

I'm not sure what to recommend here :(

Thank you for your help so far.

I'm beginning to think that the only way I'm going to figure this out is to use some sort of mouse-logging software to try and figure out what is going on, see:

Problem still exists with a different mouse (non-Microsoft, not showing up under the IntelliPoint options). I also tried un-checking the "Load UI" option. I can see that it has changed the layout of my workspace, but I'm still having the issue. EDIT: I should also point out that this happens on new ...

My mouse is so generic it's almost shameful: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=008 As a result I had never actually considered that it might be the issue. I can see that I'm running the Microsoft Intellipoint software - I'm not sure if this could be an issue?...

Resizing only happens if you're holding Ctrl while dragging the mousewheel (not rolling it). Does this happen when everything is set to "factory defaults"? Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I have created a completely new file and used Load Factory Presets . I am able to confirm that I s...

It seems to be a bug related to horizontal UI layouts. Can you provide a step-by-step instruction on how to replicate this? Also, Ctrl+Middlemouse drag is the key combination that resized UI items. Perhaps you did that? As for the console message, it seems like the filepath has both forward and bac...

GUI scale is problematic when sub-windows (panels) are moved

My apologies in advance if this is a duplicate issue, but I had a good look around the forum (also on BlenderArtists.org) and couldn't find anyone complainaing about this issue. When I try to use the middle mouse button to scroll up and down in the properties editor (e.g. when I go to the modifiers ...

Compiling Blender 64Bit under Windows 7 using Eclipse

I'm interested in compiling Blender for my 64bit Windows based machine using Eclipse (Helios). This is what I have attempted so far: installed the PyDev module for Eclipse and created a new PyDev project under the 'src' directory, I have checked-out the 3 subversion projects listed here: http://wiki...
