What's wrong with .tar.gz?
None.
Only the download link was wrong, but "now" it's working.

My English is really very poor, so my previous post was not understandable.
(maybe like this :) )

arealight and trashadow

I'm searcing for a confirmation about this. Objects with Trahadow button active (in material) cannot receive the area shadow from an arealight correctly (no soft shadow). If it is true: a. it is a bug ? b. only an unimplemented feature ? If it is false: I'm sorry. Thanks leope EDIT: I forgot some sp...

Ok, thanks :)

PS:
I've compiled Blender (with a lot of warning on "unused variables" and "cast from pointer to integer of different sizes"); it work but outliner access still not, but I can wait.

Outliner ---> segmentation fault :(

Have you build it with scons ?
Have you made some changes in the SConstruct file ? (library paths, -m64 ?).

360 degree photonlight

Can the Angle slider of the photonlight be increased to 360 ( or 359 ?) ? In some cases it can be useful. -------------------------- ---------------------------- |reflective/refractive | pointlight | reflective/refractive| | object | | object | -------------------------- --------------------------- ...

request : on/off button for lights

Use case:
many indipendent lights (layer number do not suffice)
long setup for the lights (like photonlights for caustics)
need for re-tweak eg. materials or other scene aspect

(default value ON)

sorry for my English

tnx
