hey guys. after a while i've returned to blender. (I slacked off for a while) If you need the tutorial hosted now I now have 64 gigs a month. that might help a bit. i guess the demand wore off though. Just lettin yea know teachtech

yeah, im really new too. i find the tutorial a bit hard to follow as a noob. its pretty good though. i use a few tutorials to fill in the blanks.

yeah. they're really good tutorials. I'd say continue writing more advanced stuff...even if it takes a long time. it'll take a long time for me to get good at blender so i don't mind if it takes a while :D

awesomeness! thanks a ton. it worked for me when i didnt have it slected. stupid mistake. i forget things it said on other pages though which is why it didnt work.

thanks. yes i've tried the cntrl n thing and i hit recalc normals but it didnt work. ill just keep trying i suppose

i found the lamps button. its the one witha lightbulb :D i think i just need to look around a bit cause most of them in the tutorial i've found by exploring a bit.

i think i'm close, but i can't select two objects. im out of edit mode, and none are pink. when i right click one object both get selected. im not sure why.

yes. the explanation of boolean operations didn't work for me either. I still haven't gotten it to work either. When I hit any of the 3 choices it says error:please choose 2 mesh surfaces. im not in edit mode like it said and i have them both selected with TAB.

the 2 main things I ran into during the tutorial were joining the two halves of the gingerbread man after you duplicate and flip it. they don't join like in figure 16. mine looks like the middle gingerbread man also, I couldn't locate the lamps button to do things with the lighting. these 2 things w...

im fairly new to blender to and i'm having some troubles with my gingerbread man. The problem is many of the buttons that are in the pictures arent on my blender like the lamps button and some of the keyboard shortcuts don't work. It seems to me like a simple problem of not viewing the right toolbar...
