It be cool, oh yeah, it be cool to have the ability to "make face" or any other mesh editing while makin' multi-selection with "Bkey" without stoppin' us in our flow. It would be pretty useful when, for exemple, you make a "serial make faces after a rip step or when you want to "connect" several ran...

Idea: slowmotion <-> Fastmotion : alpha mask vector ap

Well, i have an idea, sometime it's possible eh!, d'you think it will be valuable to implement quickly/easily this kind of effect into the Blender compositor? I'm not coder, so i didn't take in account all the elements, but when i look to the vector motion blur, and as it was a premiere into a 3D pk...

Thank you o6a, but that's not like this.

The old NKey* behaviour is closer to what i mean but during the creation.

Hi Joeri, What would you be naming if it was not created yet? Lol, please Joeri, what i mean it's when you click for creating the mesh or anything else, you could get directly a textbox letting us enter the name before or just after creating. In this way, we could spare some mouse movement/clicks. I...

Wish: naming object before creating

It's a simple wish, i know we have the float panel, field in mesh panel or again the Outliner for renaming a obj, but i find it pretty annoying to be not able to do that when/before creating the obj. also, it'd be appreciate if when you're renaming an obj, it renames the linked datablock automatical...

Hi, Geometry isn't an API, i know, but i meant the way of handling geometries in Blender. And Nicholas told that himself. Anyway, i've seen a proposal to rewrite this... As to the rest of your post - those doing the evaluating of proposals have a pretty good idea of what Blender lacks in terms of ar...

Thank you Toon_sheur to have pointed to this question. Personnaly, i find selected SoC too ambitious, but especially not really needed in a main time. I'd be fine to see a SoC - represented by a team, why not - which the focus is to refine/fix the current incomplete tool or to add other base for fur...

@Joeri: Ngon isn't for the final model, it is just useful during the modeling task, it's a kind of buffer if you want letting you more flexibility. I mean, when you want to divide a face or to make a hole, you don't want Blender affects directly faces around in adding unwented or bad placed edges, y...

Excellent Intrr, you have really pointed the fact. Roofoo: use or try the software rather than pretending how to do what. Intrr: It's just a detail but you misuse of the word "Fork", DTPblender isn't really a fork, it's totally another project. Moreover "fork" can be interpreted in a negative way. W...

I am for a renderman integration yes (long, long request), but i don't agree about anihilate the internal engine. Using renderman has a lot of advantages: - better quality (scalable) - better computing of geometry - Easier way to extract render's datas (eg:shadows, lights, etc...) - solid sharder la...

cheers and keep it up!

You didn't get it, it was a rhetoric question. i know what can we do with softbodieZzZ If coders can do that easily, why not, if they can do that without neglecting important part of blender, why not. It isn't because it's free that we have to say You underestimate what Blender could be. Maybe, you ...
