So for now it's possible that I can't extract those values?

I'm not sure what you mean by the weight and bones.

Texture offset and repeating values

Hello,

I'm attempting to write an exporter for Blender but I can't figure out how to extract some values from the materials.

I need the values the user set in the MapInput tab. Specifically the x, y and Z offset and size values.

Any ideas?

Thanks

What's happening is if I choose the second material and click select it shows the fourth face. I then click deselect so no faces are selected. Then I click the first material and click select. Now all four faces are selected not just the first 3. Oh wait a minute as I'm typing this I'll bet I know w...

Material Index help

I'm having a problem setting the material index for each face on a mesh. I select the mesh then go into edit mode and press F9. This takes me to links and materials. I then click add and press F5 which takes me to materials. I set the different materials for material index 1 and 2. Then go back to t...

I'm sorry I'm having a hard time trying to describe what I want to do. I'm trying to add textures to an object where the textures are actually mapped to the world and not to the face. Suppose two objects are close to each other and they use the same texture. I want to map the texture such that it lo...

Texture mapping with ST coordinates

Is it possible to map textures using ST coordinates rather than UV coordinates?

Thanks for any help

Thanks for the help. What I don't understand is that when I open a python environment in the shell and type import math it works. Then I can do math.sqrt. Hopefully there is a sqrt operator I can use without forcing people to upgrade to 2.3. I will check the link you provided. Thanks.

import math

Hi, I'm trying to use the sqrt function and it's not working. I get errors that it can't find the function. So I try to import the math library with
import math

and I get an error on the import. I'm on Mac OS/X 10.2 with Blender 2.33a

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe

Your right. It makes perfect sense. I'm trying to rotate a pipe along the pipes axis. So you wouldn't notice a difference. What I'm trying to do is rotate along an axis perpendicular to the pipe. Thanks for the hint.

UV coordinates

How do I get the UV coordinates for a face? I applied a texture to a face and resized the box for the coordinates so that it's smaller than the texture and centered. When I print the UV coordinates for the face I get, 0,1 0,0 1,0 1,1 No matter what I do to the UV coordinates I get the same values ba...
