Nice patches!
Is there a way to hide the particles when dealing with explode modifier?
It needs a "recalc" button somewhere, or bind it with particle recalc, because it don't do so on particle parameters change.

To avoid crashing and slow loading of folders with many items maybe CTRL-click on an item retrieves its picture? This way when you are looking for something but you are uncertain, you can check how it looks before loading, without waiting for every single image loads in the directory. If you still w...

update: this setup do not work flawlessly, mainly because of a bug in zutils: mask eats more pixels than it is designed to (2 or 3 more) and therefore some small parts of image which are surrounded by the masked area get eaten... but it is not so annoying... And then, if i set up this rack of plugin...

Ok, now I made it, finally. I combined chromakey rgb, zutils, scene and a pink bitmap and archieved the effect i needed. Those plugins should be availible from the bare blender install... with a handy tut maybe :D (maybe I will write sth if there is no volounteers) So, the render now clearly cutouts...

As I said, alphaover effect makes (unless I messed up with something, but there are no preferences for that effect) a smooth transition between layers, while the key function did not. It is crucial here, because with alphaover plugin I have trouble separating those two layers (fg & bg) because of th...

ok, i found chromakey rgb a nearly ideal solution of my problem. However, it is not as accurate as the Key function, because during render, blender knows which pixel is black because it is background, and which is black, but it is rendered to be so. Chromakey plugin treats every pixel equally.... bu...

I needed it for rendering tiles with #FF00FF background with OSA, but in such manner that they are not blending with the pink bg, so i could put them into the gameflow without any sequence/or external app editing... i checked alpha over seq, and it blended the fg with bg, so it was useless for me......

what happened to color key

Now it isn't possible to assign a custom color of bg when rendering with "Key" button. The bg is always black, and I think it's a major downgrade, because I didn't manage to detour this problem with sequence editor or an external application (using ex. app. involves some potentially erroneus steps, ...

If I could add something, I would definitely agree on making it switchable. But I personally am happy with the current version.

I, for instance, am still using mouse without mmb :|
So You propose the mmb/alt+lmb as usual? isn't it occupied by view rotation?

I tried to ask at elysiun, but with poor luck: I take the provided template (waving cloth:on wind) and cut the hole in it. Then the softbody tended to fall down (the pinned vertices too!) Does the softbody support this kind of geometry (plane with hole), or it is a bug? Or I made a false step? (The ...

i have the download problem too. I can easily download the zip, but it's corrupted, so I think it's incomplete. Can anyone provide a mirror for this build? And i hope Gabio will cope with the problem without any big effort :D

Hello, maybe I overlooked something, but I found impossible to change the color of the background while using KEY in render buttons (the one preserving the OSA to blend with the background)... it always remain black, while in previous builds I could change the colour freely I'm glad that the camera ...

warp: material ipo

Will it be possible to allocate the new "warp texture" feature to IPO, so there could be done some dynamic changes within the animation? I was just checking the features, as I usually do, and thought it could be useful to someone.

You are all shouting at the wrong direction. The discussion should have ended when the all the features needed were clearly put. Muse support in Blender and Blender support in Muse, or even integration is definitely a good thing for both projects, and I think that the decision couldn't be made at th...
