Hi everybody! Here is my logo! I hope you like it! :D http://boingdesign.com.br/Sintel_send.png ... I really like this one, kaboing. It has potential! The only elements that distract are the 't' and the 'l'. I feel the 't' tilts a tad far to the right and needs a simpler crossbar, while the 'l' doe...

Hear, hear! Goes smaller, why not larger? Why not a slider, or valuebox rather than fixed increments? Second this motion!

Will it be possible to scale along a particular face's normal with the transform rewrite that's currently being undertaken? Or perhaps even the "average" normal of a set of faces? This might allow the use of the technique suggested by Delta on "odd angled" faces... ?

You can find good help on how blender works on a user forum. There is a great list here: http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Websites.7.0.html blender.org is intended as a developers forum with debates on blender development. I know this isn't the thread for this, but: question for the moderators/admins o...

Along these lines, a feature of Wings3D that I like is that it keeps a counter of the number of items you have selected in its status bar, even giving the names of them, up to a certain number, 4, I think. I would just like to sometimes know how many verts/lines/faces I have selected in edit mode, o...

Does anyone out there use Windows and have the "Start" bar set to autohide? I personally love this. When I want to switch apps or open files or execute programs, I just move my mouse down (or left/right/top as preferred) over the small 1-2px wide band at the bottom of the screen and whoops, up pops ...

I think BlackMage (from elYsiun) is working on a project for blender that includes this feature. More info here http://wiki.blender.org/bin/view.pl/Ble ... llGIAndSSS

Hey, thanks joeri, for replying. Yes, I guess you're right that putting something like this in would only benefit a few, and that those benefits would be somewhat ethereal. It would only be a feature of convenience, really. I tend to get carried away with ideas that I think would benefit users. Low ...

The J key is to compare images. Yes, but it also changes which buffer is "current" So if it cycles truw a buffer list it could overwrite an image I'd like to keep. Which is exactly what it does all the time now if you don't manually change buffers with the j-key. If it were to automatically cycle t...

On the save rendered image subject: Why can't the user turn on a toggle that automatically saves the render buffers to temp files, so they're retrievable in case of crash? (Or accidental quit, which I've done sometimes... without realizing I haven't saved the latest... (why doesn't blender prompt me...

You can kinda do this (inset) already with the new extrude face/region tool. (I liked this feature in Wings3D, too...) When you perform the extrude, instead of dragging and clicking the new vertices to a new location simply click the right mouse button and they'll stay right in the same location as ...
