Sorry for bumping this, but I just wanted to bring this thread back to people's attention. Especially in coherence with the recode for the Orange Project, harkyman's suggestions might of value. Personally, I think those functions, especially the NLA stuff and Animation paths, will help n00b animator...

Sometimes it's necessary to toggle out of subsurf mode and see what the low-res cage actually looks like. What would be great is to have a fluid dynamics panel similar to the current soft-body panel. Here, the user would be able to choose which algorythm they want to use, either PSH or LBM, depending on the desired effect.
