it happens when you had a previous yaf installisation and installed 0.0.7 without de-installing the old one. i had the same problem and resolved it by de-installing blender, yafray, then loeading yafray again and finally blender.
it works now wooooo! :lol:

the ramp shader is one of the most powerful shading options out there.

i dont think it would work that way since cinema4D and blender have completely different plugin/ render architectures.

besides that, i think someone is already working on a volumetric smoke implemention.

i had that problem once, it happens usually with all the screenfonts.
