I installed the full version. I just wanna start getting familiar with the blender code. Eventually, i'd like to create something similar to "command-line blender" but for animation generation. i.e. a properly rigged human model can be instructed to perform several motions. commands: run, walk, jump...

Of course it works right after I post and make a fool of myself :)

I downloaded a fresh copy of the source and the project files seem to have been fixed. Also, the missing lib compiled with the rest of them, no need to compile by itself.

I agree with IngieBee about moving NGB to its own place with more notes for people who have no clue as to what this is and how to test it and how to work with it and stuff, such as me. I'm very interested in this and think it is indeed where Blender is heading, and really want to get into it as soon...

you can...

gmax has import functions... you can easily accomplish this by using a 3ds export from blender. Once the export has been implemented of course. I read somewhere else of someone working on it. or having a full suite of export utils to other apps, lightwave included. so you can model away in blender, ...

What's the status on Dynamica?

Now that blender's open source, will dynamica team continue their plugin work, or will you try to integrate it with the blender source?

How does this affect your current work? Will you have to rewrite scripts and such, now that proprietary physics is gone?

Now there's a binary download of the real sh*t (publisher 2.25) for all to play with and calm down 'till the coders improve on it.
