I also like the new UI very much. Not only are the items grouped better, but it also looks a lot better, which is definately a good thing. :)

While some things might be easier to do in Blender, there are many things that are simply stupid. Why are the mouse buttons used in such an illogical way? Why does the camera (both of them) rotate around the z-axis? Why cant you find the tools etc. in the pulldown menus? Why cant you set your own ho...

Well I can see what you mean, but i've havent really needed the cursor and it just gets on my way. Couldnt it be just like any other object? You could add it anywhere you want it and move it around etc. but it wouldnt need to be used with the RMB or LMB.

Parametric primitive creation sounds good. :) Is there some kind of an object preferences window in Blender where you could scale, move, rotate and do things things like that? If not then that could be good too. One thing that troubles me is that when i create a new cube for example, its rotated so ...

Bello pretty much said it all.

BTW, in many programs you dont have to add the object in the center, but you can just click where you want the object, and there's no need for a useless cursor.

Witout gizmos you have to press a different hotkey for each axis, with gizmos you would have one hotkey and then you could just pull different arrows. IMO thats faster and easier. The current system works too but i dont see a reason why gizmos or something similiar couldnt be done.

You've got some good ideas in that list. I have a few opinions too: I think Blender needs transform gizmos. Moving and rotating things is a pain in the ass without them. Another thing i dont like is that red circle you move with the left mouse button. As far as I know its completely useless and you ...

Bump. I know this thread is old but as a newer blender user i find this camera rotating thing extremely frustrating. It'd be nice to know if someone is doing something to it.
