The easiest way is to move the object to another layer.

First record the initial layer of the object with I Key, then Layer
Move to the next frame.
Press M Key to move the object to another layer (not visible)
Record with I / Layer.

I can't bake an armature constrained with an empty

Hi everybody, and merry christmas ! I'm animating and armature with an empty linked (IKSolver) to the last bone of the chain. I would like to "bake" the animation, so that I can remove the empty and the constraint. So I try the "bake" procedure, and I fail ! I manage to bake my animation with my old...

The "soft" button is a bit too large I think ... will it be replaced by a smaller one (with a small icon on it) ?

Since the 13/01 build, it's impossible to render an animation in .jpg format !.

.tga, .bmp etc ... file format are ok for animation, but if you select ".jpg" and press the ANIM button you get this error message in console :

c:\render\essai\0001.jpg : no such file or directory

Bug with animations in .jpg format with THIS build.

When selecting Jpeg format for animation, only the first frame is rendered after pressing on animation button.

(normally, all frames are rendered in separate .jpeg format pictures)

Start Blender, go to rendering setting turn Passepartout on and save your user preferences with ctrl+u. Thanks ElBarto, but I already knew how to save my settings (Ctrl+U). I just meant that I fear one day there will be too many controls and options on the screen. If we choose to keep the passepart...

Tommy5 wrote: For a example, in new builds there is 'Passepartout' function which draws darkened passepartout in camera view.
Think that should be by default on, and not a option to choose.
Or at least it should be transferred in camera options panel.
I agree !

I suscribe to this point of view.

SHIFT+LMB sounds more logical !

Could "Outliner" be the default view mode in Oops ?

I suggest that the Outliner is moved to its own window space instead of being hidden away inside the OOPS window
I would suggest that outliner stay in Oops window BUT outliner would be the DEFAULT view mode.

That's totally up to ATI I'd say...
I agree : it is THEIR fault, but I fear that this problem will never be solved if we wait THEY change their cards & drivers.

Am I the only one ?
