Such techniques only work in optimal listening situations, which you rarely encounter in a normal PeeCee Gamer's environment probably... For general use, I would think normal panning and what the system does for behind (invert one channel's phase + lowpass) is enough for now. Actually, your wrong. ...

unlike the unreal tournament 2004 demo this doesn't have any static or problems with making the sounds seem 3d however, they seem like they could be more 3d. Having not studied audio I couldn't suggest much how they could be improved. How about increasing the stereo image? http://www.musicdsp.org/s...

.chm-files are da bomb! Alot easier to overview than a web of HTML-pages. I was actually considering converting everything myself, but it proved too much of a hassle :? I simply don't have the time:p Yes! You've seen the light. There was a point in time when I attempted to make a .chm for something...

Re: VST plugin hosting for audio effects...
My company currently designs and develops RTAS (proprietary) and VST (open source) plugins for music and general audio production. Does anyone think there would be any interest in this functionality? On a side note, (and a little too niche for most) there are algorithms to generate the reverb effec...

Making CHM version of the User Guide and Reference...
Has anyone attempted making a CHM version of the User Guide and Reference. I am pretty sure that CHM's are compiled using HTML files.

Re: RVKs improvements for CA
We need vertex animation enclosed in "vertex actions", so we can mix and match them with bone animations. Right now, RVK animations are linked to the project timeline itself, and this way we cannot have say a facial animation be diferent in two or more actions. The only way to get it right now, as ...

Boat mode for waves effect status?
Does anyone know the status of the boat mode for waves effect project? This would be incredibly useful.

Appreciate the comments, but I can perfectly understand why some people currently find yafray too hard to use or unpredictable, or too slow, though that is also an issue of not fully understanding the parameters involved (not saying that yafray certainly can still be optimized more in several areas...

I dont think it will make it for 2.36, because of time constraints and also the politics of adding 3rd party libraries to the blender codebase. I figured that'd be an issue too. Here is a free, efficient alternative to FFTW: http://ldesoras.free.fr/prod.html . I've used it before for audio eq work;...
