I'm surprised no one has said anything in response yet. I think you would get much more feed back from your experience at Blenderartists.org In any case, it's good that you are trying Blender out, and I agree with the points you've raised. Blender is good, but is not quite there yet in terms of usea...

There is also Vancouver Graphics Animation Studio.

I wish you luck though. I love seeing studios use open source stuff.

Interesting development Venomfx. I have seen lattices used in Maya, and I have often wondered how well this method works for character animation.

Hello, I work in the VRCenter at UALR in Little Rock, where we have a Cave. I admit I'm not much of a programmer, and I havn't used anything beyond cavelib, but I'm interested in the result of this.

I've sent you an email too.

I hear it's because ATI cards have a problem with it. I like the full screen mode too. And it would be great if it can be added as a command line operator. I know Linux version start full screen automatically, and you have to start it with -W to make it start in a window, if the Windows version had ...

I figured it out. Turns out it was an empty ObjAction datablock that hindered the Shape keys. I'm not sure how it got there or what ObjAction is supposed to do... but deleting it in the Action editor seems to solve the problem. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v186/Howitzer/solutionimage1.jpg http:...

After messing around a bit, I figured this must be a bug and submitted it.

Thankyou for your assistance

Note - Using the ipo drivers seems to fix the problem.

Shapes Problem... I think (oops)

At this point in time I am trying to decide if Blender has a crazy bug or if I'm insane. I have tried searching the forums for information, and so far, I have found nothing even remotely related. It seems as though no one wants to talk about it, or perhaps it is all in my head. Perhaps I'm wrong, pe...

I don't know if this means anything, but I had to install libstdc++5 to get it working on Ubuntu. Blender 2.37a worked just fine without libstdc++5 (libstdc++6 was installed).

I just wanted to let people know that the fur still has a problem. Ton has already looked at it, but I felt you should know. (Yes, the error is also now present in 2.40 RC1) There is a test file on the page as well. http://projects.blender.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3492&group_id=9&atid=1...

Thanks! But the latest (Windows) build was the 17th. I am unable to find the build of the 22nd (Windows), and I do not know how to compile from the source.

To be honest, I couldn't care either way. But- I do have a preference to alt-b... and when I saw these people voicing their very long winded opinion on it I thought it would be helpful to put in my two pennies.... a sort of read this if you don't want to read all of that

I also agree. I don't like how I must alt-click to select edge loops, although it does not bother me too much... which is why I'm not writing so much about it like you folks are. I mean, seriously... what else needs to be said? We don't like alt-clicking, we like the old alt-b/shift-r. With the unde...
