A more thorough description would help. for example are you animating, showing a reflection in a mirror or do you just want a copy of the original, or are you just trying to apply a mirror modifier to achieve an asymetricle model

If you can't find it here it's not out yet http://cgcookie.com/blender/ you should really check it out, many examples of low poly chareter animations and how to do it. I suggest becomming a "citizen" member, this allows you to download very extensive video tutorials with the Blender source files, th...

It sounds like the normals may have gotten messed up. Go into edit mode, vertex select, all, then click the recalculate button on the left side in the tools area. You may need to scroll down to see it.

Check your sample rate, not sure exactly where it is at right now, but you can adjust the sample rate. Note, like everything else increasing the sample rate increases render time. If you can't get the results you are wanting by increasing the sample rate on the audio file then you may want to render...

fix armpit deform

I did some mesh experimenting to solve arm pit deforms, a notorious problem spot when animating. I found that by ripping the verticies in the middle of the arm pit, excruding and scaling them in, lateral distortion was cut back dramaticly. In IMHO it works perfect. I went from large lateral bulge to...

I see exactly what you are saying but the answer I likley no. Reason being, 3D space, the system must know all the points of all the objects height width and depth and there relations to each other in order to animate. However there is an option located at the bottom of the key frame window to displ...

empty armature

I had some deform problems that just could not be fixed. Example, I moved a leg bone and part of the chest on the opposite side of the mesh deformed. Weight paint showed no weight on the verticies and would not subtract them. So I deleted the armature in object mode but it still shows in my outliner...

there is a "transfer weights" operator, but no clue how to use it and it doesn't seem to allow what you need, but maybe you can read up about it in documentation. Thanks I took a look at that but the documentation is very vague. I don't even see a transfer option in my weight painting tools. Going ...

Weight Painting question

Is it possible to copy the weights from one bone to another ? My situation is, the right side of my model works flawlessly but the left has issues. In spite of all my efforts I can not seem to get them to match the right side. I would love to be able to select the good bone and copy the weights to t...

Deform problems and weight painting issuse

Currently working with a human rig, had some strange deforms with random verts, move the arm and the head explodes, so to speak, So I went to weight Paint, the strange deforms showed no weight color but I was able to fix them. However, while testing the rest of the rig deforms I select a new bone an...

Blender is free software, you can not sell Blender, but the things you create in Blender are yours, your creations, so yes you can sell / use them. Here is an example, you buy a saw and build something using it, you can then sell what you built, now if someone lowns you the saw and you build somethi...

I am a bit confused about what you are saying, when you reopen blender it should open the default screen with a pop up so to speak in the middle of the screen, unless you change the user preferences In the pop up you will see a list of your most recent projects, click on the one you want and it shou...
