Yes, i understand you very well. Make a game, even a little and not serious one, is a long task. I guess that a "pro" company took Blender to make a game, maybe they succeed, maybe??!! But i guess that even "pros" don't know if they "can do it" That's why they took Quake 3 engine. That way they know...

Most Pro game engines (Quake-Half Life ...) compile to pre-calculate visible or invisible polygons, lights shadows, and other things. That's why they're faster. Blender don't need compilation. Once it's made you press P and you're in "PLAY" mode. You don't need extra apps now. BLENDER PUBLISHER is a...

Hello psicocybin Blender is a "generalist" game engine. Graphically at the top, but very down in fps's Entities don't exist in Blender. Forget your BSP technologies engines Blender is WYSYWYG engine :) No more VIS or Compile. You do, you play, instantly :) That's why he's so slow I guess we can't do...

Maybe I don't well explain ?
Blender engine uses meshes with or without textures to fake particules
That can be very "heavy" in fps.

Hello compcor85
Particles don't work in the game engine
You can fake them with the Add Object actuator with (ex:a textured plane)
The same to the Missile
Or use Animated Textures

You can do all kind of games with Blender, and the "great thing is" that you don't need programming skills cause Blender use the great Logic Bricks. Course, to make more complex games, Python scripts are necessary. But graphically Blender is at the top (and the fps down :? Check the www.elysiun.com ...
