Cycles rendering in latest Blender version (2.68)
It seems that in this latest version of Blender, cycles rendering doesn't do a very good job. Results are not very realistic, and much of the solid areas look like micro dots. I've tried full resolution, at 100% and render passes at up to 2,000, but still no better. Also, I don't seem to have any op...

Thank you for explaining this and that it was a moderator who moved/locked my posts. There was no indication that it was a moderator so that clears that up. As for Googling answers, I can imagine that a lot of people simply find it easier to ask others rather than do their own research. As for me, I...

Why am I being singled out and locked out?
I posted a question here about moving bones in pose mode, twice. First time it was moved to an obscure area of things that really should be posted in Blenderartist. The second posting has been locked after it got one response stating that questions about using Blender go to the Blenderartist area, a...

Reposting because somebody moved OP: Move bones in Pose Mode
I posted this yesterday but somebody moved it to an area about things that really belong in the BlenderArtists area. This is about animation of a rigging. I thought the artists area was for questions about creativity, style, etc. So whoever moved it, please at least explain why and who you are. Blen...

Why was this thread moved?
It's an animation question so I posted in the animation section. Somebody moved it here. Why? Why would this belong in the Blender Artists area? Isn't that more for creative questions?

Can't move bones in pose mode
Blender 2.66 I made a simple rig to try to learn about pose mode, pose library, etc. I added a single bone and then in edit mode, I extruded one bone and repeated to make a total of four connected bones. I went into pose mode, added a pose in the library named it 'rest'. But when I wanted to move th...

Couldn't you just place smaller cylinders in the face where you want holes, and then just use the boolean modifier with 'difference"? After you apply it, you can delete the cylinders. If you want several holes, join all the smaller cylinders into one object to use as the boolean object, so you can d...

If you look very closely at the upper right or lower left corner of each window, you will see a little triangle of lines. You have to place your mouse over one of those corners, then click and drag up (or down) and you will see a large, grayed out arrow showing how the window will be 'joined' to the...
