Bones' roll values

Hello, I have a model of a hand initially created in Blender 2.37a. Now when I open it with Blender 2.41 it has different roll values for every bone than before. Is it normal? If not, how do I retrieve the old values? Both ARMATURESPACE and BONESPACE are different from the previous value, I checked....

Roja, could you download it again and try, please, and tell whether your models still look jumbled? Just one little try. I've got hold of another, more comlicated model. The more comlicated one looks jumbled, the simpler one does not, but it's rotated different (roll values are different because of ...

Hello, First of all thank you for giving it a try! Yes, there is something wrong with exporting vertices data and I'll be working on that today. That's why you got your model looking jumbled. I can't say anything about animations yet because I didn't get that far, but in my model a simple animation ...

Hello, I got this script to work with CVS build of Blender 2.41, but unfortunately I have only 1 model to test it on. Could anybody test it, please?

Thank you,
Kostya.

Can anybody tell when the next 2.41 release is scheduled? And what directory the current Blender 2.40 is built from? I am using:
CVS log for blender/source/blender/python/api2_2x/
As far as I understand this directory is for development builds, right?

tawnkramer,
Do I understand you correctly: you fixed some part of blend2cal3d_2? If so, could you post the link, please, I have something to test it on.

Where are 2.40 Python API docs?

Hello! I kind of need a new Python 2.40 API for my work. Can anybody tell me more or less precisely when is it due to be published (I mean the documentation)? If it is a few weeks ahead from now, is there a way to generate it myself? I am very new to CVS, where should I look in the tree? And what sh...

Well, I hope, that ALL of the functions will be documented there. By the way, how can I view the undocumented functions in the current Python API, where do people get the information about it? Looking up the CVS tree and going through .py files? What directory should I look into? Thank you very much...

Yes, I want to bake a constrained animation. So how do I find this function to bake my animation? Do I login to CVS and build API documentation myself, as somebody suggested? I don't mind using Blender 2.4-series, it has lots of useful improvements. What I need is to find out is how to bake using Py...

BAKE class.

Hello, I have asked this question on Elysiun forum and on this one under Python script and Documentation topics, but it seems like nobody is willing to answer it. My main question is: is there a class, that would allow me to bake IPO curves for an animation using the script (Python) instead of doing...

Is here a Bake class?

Hello, I know, that Blender Python API is not fully documented. Therewfore I am curious if there is any class, that would be doing the baking of IPO constraints, so that I wouldn't have to bake from IPO menu manually?

Also, is it possible to remove keyframes from an IPO?

Thank you,
Kostya.

BAKE class and removing keyframes.

Hello, i posted a question http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=53143 to Elysiun, but nobody seems to be able to answer it. Therefore decided to look here for help. Is there any class in Blender Python API, that would allow me to call BAKE function? Is it possible to remove some of the keyfr...
