Hopefully with the new python API we won't have to update our scripts every time a new blender version gets released. http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.26/ if any of the code needs explaining (if anyone wants to do any further develo...

toTriangles died a miserable death?
I was just wondering whether the python function Mesh.toTriangles(ngon) is supposed to be part of the current python system any more? If it's supposed to still be there, I guess no-one has realised that it hasn't worked in a while? If it was removed on purpose then it hasn't been completely removed?...

Hey all, Sorry about the lack of news regarding the progress of the swf exporter lately, but i've been incredibly busy with my band. www.detour180.com if anyone is interested. Anyway, i digress. Hey there Heli, I looked at Ming originally, but couldn't get it to compile with the Python extensions on Windows. However, I will be looking at this again later on down the track when I get the code in the Python script sorted out. As far as a Linux version of the export script goes - that is alrea...

Otherwise you could use Elefont to import any font into blender via a DXF file.

Great little freeware program, but don't forget to remove the doubles after you've imported the DXF

For some scripts, you can start by looking here:
http://www.blender3d.org/Download/?sub=Resources#python
I think that blender can import DXF, VRML and VRML2 by opening the file as you would a blend file, but don't quote me on that one.
