Thanks for the build. The creases are a great feature. I found the button to add edge data to the active object but did not find a way to edit the weighting of the edges :) so I googled and found these pages: http://www.mcfarlen.us/~chris/subsurfcrease/subsurfcrease.html http://www.mcfarlen.us/~chri...

Hey, that was fast - I'm so happy with the ramp shader and now there are more enhancements. The colour picker is very useful - and new material IPOs - cool!

The b3org.py script works fine on my system (Windows XP / Full Python 2.3 / Mozilla Firefox 0.9.1).

Thank you very much!

I couldn´t find the Ramp shader on this build... ? I liked very much the new light toggles in the preview tab! So you got very close to the Ramp shader - it's a seperate folder sharing the panel with the 'Material' settings (called 'Ramps'). It's been a while since I looked into the particle system...

You have to use a newer version of YafRay - unfortunately, it is not included in this ZIP-File (SamAdam mentioned this before), but it was included in the last version.

You'll find it here: http://www.blender.org/modules.php?op=m ... pic&t=3953

...wow, one weekend away from blender.org and I'm missing THIS!

Great work - I'm currently rendering my first test and I'm looking forward to see this tool in a Blender release.

Good to see that the problem is analysed now - thank you! Your compile runs on my machine (Pentium 4 - Windows XP - Club Radeon 9200 - Catalyst 4.5) and is a bit faster compared to standard 2.33a atioglxx.dll :D (also measured by benchmark). I repeated the benchmark test to see if it starts to slow ...

ATI Catalyst 4.5

Hi,

I just installed ATI's Catalyst 4.5 today and - it seems like the slowdown ploblem is gone. I deleted the atioglxx.dll which I used as a hotfix and everything is allright until now :D

The international fonts look good as well...

Can this be true?

Cheers

LOL, the 'hotfix' extends my patience

I finally updated my PC at work to current Catalyst drivers this morning... yeah!

Ton suggested to put this to the FAQ and/or Downloads page, and the easiest way to do this would be a direct download link to ATI's website. Unfortunately, I was not able to find a direct link to the DLL. All I found was a link to the complete Catalyst package, but you would have to unpack the DLL m...

MrD, you made my day :D I'm working for about half an hour now with the Catalyst 3.7 DLL and everything is absolutely fine. My configuration: Radeon 9800 XT with Catalyst 4.4 / Windows XP Professional SP1 / Athlon 64 3400+ / 1GB RAM :D I can remember that I had to use such a trick for an OpenGL appl...

Yes, the 3.9 drivers seem to be ok, I use them at work. But I built this machine for Graphics AND Games and so I like it to be as fast as possible :D
