Wow, the new armature workflow really rocks - I'm still reading the changelog... I agree with Bellorum that the Modifier Stack currently feels a bit crippled, some kind of expandable view would be better. poutsa: although still not finished. Currently no cage is computed, the cage is always the base...

Wow, the armatures are much faster on my machines now. I never thought that you would be so fast rebuilding the armatures system. What do you think, will it be possible to use the coming CVS builds to work on my current animation WIP or is it better to stay with 2.37a and wait for the next release? ...

Thanks, this one really really renders faster on my machines (AMD 64 3400+ and Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz). Render times for my test scene: Blender 2.37a: 02min 01sec This Build: 01min 40sec By the way, I thought the ATI problems were already solved a few Blender versions ago - I have ATI Radeons in bo...

They are sorted in alphabetical order, but not starting left/top but left/bottom . Looks confusing but you get used to it very quickly... it would be better if it was starting left/top, but I don't mind.

Hehe, I guess the Knoppix CD I used to run Linux on my notebook did not use the appropriate drivers :D. I started it on my desktop machine and I agree, it's pretty fast there. I was just wondering because Firefox was much faster on the notebook...

Update:

3DNP works in Konqueror now :D! ...updated the ZIP-file.

Knoppix is a very useful tool. By the way, Konqueror seems to be very slow compared to Firefox - just on my machine?

The IFrame is not causing the problems, I tested 3DNP without IFRames and it didn't help - reading the Buglist on Konqueror's website gave me a bad feeling about it :D.

I will try to find out what causes the problem on Saturday...

I've got trouble loading fonts (I'm using the Windows version on XP).

And if I load a Blend file from a previous Blender version text objects with non internal font don't show up properly and crash Blender if I try to edit them.

Re: from scratch

The elysiun code don't do the same, it loads hires pictures at startup, it's rather slow and not efficient. This script prevent it (as the blender3d.it code which I took my inspiration from). Exactly - My viewer ( 3DNP ) is targeted at displaying 3D in hires quality. I think it's a matter or taste,...

3DNP - a 3D viewer that needs no plugins

Hi, some of you might have seen this on elYsiun, but maybe some missed it and might find it useful so I post it here, too ;). 3DNP is a free JavaScript based 3D viewer that comes with a Blender Python script to create a matching camera path: http://www.thoro.de/images/blender/transparent100.gif http...
