...hmm, I can add armatures, but I get a crash after selecting an object from OOPS window and try to delete it.

Thanks for the build, gabio. I'm currently testing/exploring the new features. The outliner will become a great tool to manage large scenes and I love the new lasso selection. The backbuffer selection seems to work properly on my Windows XP machine (with ATI Radeon 9800XT) - no glitches so far. But ...

While working with Maya I used a SubSurf tool called 'Connect Poly Shape', which included the same feature.

However, I've got used to the 'Alt-D'-method and the resulting standard comment 'There is an ugly seam in the middle of your model' in Elysiun's WIP-forum :D.

Yes, and I'm not in a hurry .

I think that there are so many improvements going on these days making Blender better and better.

I think there is no such feature at this time - I came across the same problem texturing my current character: http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31161 I like the look of the ramp shader so much that I decided to do as much as I can with material groups, which is no problem because this is...

... jep, works now. By the way, how can I make a CVS build with a working YafRay plugin? I'm using TheAppleMan's tutorial to compile and get a runtime error each time I try to render with the YafRay plugin. I can't stop telling you how much I enjoy the new editmeshmodes - especially when it comes to...

Wow, the new Zbuffer clipped selection mode is very useful - and the Optimal draw subsurfs mode looks better than ever. Thank you so much!

There are 2 StayOkay youth hostels in Amsterdam where some Blenderheads stay during the conference.

You can find some information (and place a reservation) on their website: http://www.stayokay.com.

Oki doki, just wanted to let you know .

By the way, I did my first own Blender build last night (always wanted to do this ) - I used TheAppleMan's tutorial.

...while working with this build at home I got a huge slowdown in Edit Mode - in the viewports, no matter if I select wireframe or shaded mode. It seems to happen only with subdiv objects - I just take a cube, subdivide it 5 times and turn SubSurf on. If I try to select/move vertices everything is d...

Uh, just discovered this thread half an hour ago and I must say: these are very valuable new features. - The Object Hooks already look quite useful and after reading the article on blender3d.org, I think that they'll become a mighty tool. - The Curve Deform also looks good and it is exactly what I n...

Thanks for this build!

The undo system speedup is great. I just have to get used to an undo function in Blender .
