Look at OpenSteer for a lib that handles several types of path-finding. (http://www.red3d.com/cwr/steer/ for the documentation).

The applets are actually very interesting :)

Todays CVS Build: This CVS Build has been obsoleted by a newer build http://www.letwory.net/cvsbuilds/bf_blender_windows_20040109.zip Again, this is build with the SCons , using MSVC7 as the compiler. It has TTF , International , Quicktime and OpenAL support compiled in. There is still no game-engin...

Feedback here doesn't get sent to the bugtracker (that you can do yourself). Feedback is used to communicate directly to the coders. I try to address these in IRC etc.

Problem with saving user defaults has been solved. Also the pose figuring has been improved with a bug fix[/red]. Link in initial post updated with new CVS build.
