me and someone else are planning to do build up a mosix cluster shortly for a time critical project. i want to use yafray as renderer and i know that blender and yafray has a hardcoded thread/core limit of 8 (at least in the blender settings). i'm regular compiling blender svn for myself, so i thoug...

no, i didn't knew about openmp. i'm also no blender developer. i just want to make my python scripts, especially the demolition script using multiple cores/cpus, because that would result in a huge speed up. i see now it's possible, i just don't know why blender doesn't distribute the python threads...
