...it would be nice to pause rendering and do other stuff in between. Sorry but I don't really get this part. I do rendering all the time, but as I really own only one 'serious' computer I have to do other graphic work as well - at the same time. Doesn't bother me. Just let it render =) Of course o...

@Mats78 you mean select loops edge/faces in Blender ? if you use KDE it can be cumbersome with alt+rmb... try to use alt+ctrl+rmb works for me in KDE 3.2.3 Umm.. that too, but I meant the selection box when objects overlap. Seems alt+mouse won't work at all (yes I use KDE but the same happens on fl...

I just checked by creating a simple white-box-sliding-from-left-to-right animation. Did this in both 3DSMax and Blender. PAL, even field order in both: BLENDER http://www.artflow.fi/fields/fields_blender.jpg MAX http://www.artflow.fi/fields/fields_max.jpg As you can see EVEN/ODD seems arbitrary. Wit...

Field render oddity
I stumbled across a very dumb mixup while working on a school project. I'm making two short animations for a Finnish television company using Blender as my primary tool. I did wonder about even/odd fields earlier, but never really dove into the subject. My instructions were to use even fields first,...

Thanks for the builds. Why does the selection box popup with shift+alt+select on linux (Slack) but alt+select on windows (XP)? It should be alt+select, right? From my xorg.conf: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Keyboard0" Driver "keyboard" Option "XkbLayout" "fi" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "X...

B-con 3 but no info around?
We're at B-con 3 now, meaning that a release is scheduled, but I can't find any info on when a possible release would come out. Is there a (very well) hidden page somewhere that tells us more about the current status? My logical choise was to click on "B-con 3" but that told me actually very little....

This might well turn out to be very useful. I like your idea to use freely formed mesh objects as envelopes. I've used Character Studio and it's envelopes before - I do not use them anymore as they are poorly implemented. However, I do believe that in doing things better the tool can be of great hel...

Vertex group copy
I thought it would be nice to be able to do this, just stumbled on it while working on my latest project. First of all, I have three different scenes currently, all in the same file. All of them use the same character, just different environements and actions. So I thought it would be nice to link t...

Strange banding
Please take a look at my picture here. I'd really like to know if anyone sees any strange banding effects. I experience some and can't seem to get rid of them. I'm on Linux and using Xorg with 24 bit color depth (eg. different color transitions created with the Gimp all look fine, no banding whatsoe...
