Just to be clear, there is NO Mac/OSX version yet.
We need a Mac developer who can assist in building the latest changes.

Cool! Do you know a shop (preferable in California) where you can buy them, or is it just on-line?

Snailrose great work on the gameengine is running on Linux now. It works nice on an NVidia 6600GT. http://www.continuousphysics.com/ftp/pub/test/blender/2.41graphics_features.jpg Download this file: http://www.continuousphysics.com/ftp/pub/test/index.php?dir=blender/&file=blender-2.40-linux-armature...

it is a side-effect that I introduced when I added 'write game physics to IPO'. If that option in the game-menu is switched off, it cleared the IPO's for dynamic objects. I will rethink the way this works for next version, thanks for the report. One way is to make the object non-dynamic, because dyn...

I will support the current game engine (Ketsji) at least during 2006. Also snail has been doing some great work on the game engine graphics side. So in short, there will be better Bullet rigidbody support, multi texture and shader support, fixed armatures, new vehicles and new character control. Per...

2006 Domino simulation: http://www.continuousphysics.com/ftp/pub/test/blender/happy_2006_blend.zip You can use <ALT>-A to see the animation. For baking the Bullet rigidbody simulation yourself, it requires latest cvs build, so you have to wait for the next Blender version, or get the pre-build versi...

The gameengine was written independently from Blender to allow for a separate webplayer. Also the programming language is C++ rather then Blender C.

However over time more Blender internal structures have been introduced in the gameengine, so things are not completely separated anymore.

Bullet integration is work in progress, and Restitution and other values are not hooked up yet. I will add those in next version, thanks for the reminder. Physics is running realtime by default, which makes behaviour random. Did you try to set the 'Enable All Frames' setting in the games menu? This ...
