What? You mean delete a keyframe. Yea, that sucks how you can't do it from the time line window. What you do is you set the time marker in the timeline window over the frame you want to delete, change the window type to IPO curve view, press 'A' until all the dots are white, then press Tab. That put...

I wish there was a script that could sortof, cut a mesh into random chunks and apply physics to them. The explode modifiers are ok, but all that does is make the individual faces fly out, not really explode the shape. Maybe a little out of scope for Blender though. :(

What? You want it to have a sortof glow around it? I think you would need to have a halo in it. Emit means that the material emits light, and it is only noticeable when it hits other objects.

Ok, what I really want to know is which processor I would be better off with (Blender-wise):
-Pentium 4 HT (3.8ghz)
-Pentium D Dual Core (3.4ghz)

Faster Rendering

Just so you know now, I know very little about what I am talking about. Whenever I render a scene it takes an excrutiatingly long time, right now I have about 1.8ghz, so you can imagine why. I am planning on getting a new computer some time in the future. The fastest thing they have out now is aroun...

Yikes! I can't use Yafray!

Does anybody have any idea why I can't use Yafray to render?

I tell it to use Yafray, and then I press render and it stays a black window, it never does anything. I have the latest version of Yafray.

No, you do not need Quicktime Pro. What I always do is I render it to an AVI Raw, then convert it to Quicktime, but you need pro to do that...

What does it do when you try to play it?

Exploding Objects

Hello, I was wondering what you guys think would be the best way to make something explode in a huge fire ball. THe fire ball I can handle, but I just don't know how to make the original object explode into chunks of debris. I want it to be sortof like the white house explosion on Independence Day (...

Merging 2 .blend files

I was wondering how you merge 2 different .blend files into 1. I know it has to do with the append thing but I can't figure out how to use that.
