How about an option to render the whole interface while working in one of the stereo modes? Would be great for better visual feedback while modelling, etc!
PS: It might need a different coloured theme to work properly, for such methods as red-cyan anaglyphs.

Okay, who removed the object center (aka origin) dot in edit mode??? This is like an "un-feature". There are several times when seeing the object origin is very important in edit mode! For example if the object moves along a path, and/or uses dupliframes, or if a curve is used as a bevel for another...

Ok, finally my webspace provider fixed the servers, so here's a picture of my problem: http://zedman.uw.hu/images/backbuffer_bug.jpg The buttons are the smaller problem, since they reappear after a short while, and only disappear when the mouse ursor moves from one window to another. But the menus a...

Renaming should be done either by clicking once more on the name, this is the most obvious choice and the most intuitive! But if we REALLY want to also use a function key along with a mouse click, then Shift would be better, since the rest of Blender uses a shift+click for editing number buttons (wh...

Well, this ATI fix hasn't been "fixed" yet. I have the same problem as I did with the previous build. The menus pop up UNDER the given window. Thje menu only appears when I move the mouse cursor over the entries, and even then, only those entries show up, over which I have already moved the cursor. ...

Wavk: Actually I am from Europe :)
Now that I think of it, I have heard the term, when referring to the border that is used in framed pictures, although I would't have guessed what it would do in a 3D program.

Oh, and two more things (nit-picking, really :)): The passepartout should be renamed to something more expressive. This name always reminds me of the guy in Around the World in Eigthy Days :D The other thing is that the show edges and show faces option should be turned ON by default. I know this has...

Okay, first off the new outliner is great! Exactly what has been missing for a long time, although I would have called it Object Manager, or something simila. It should be the deafult option in the OOPS window, or have its own window type. The old OOPS schematic doesn't really have many uses, it's w...

Okay, the Undo is great! Finally! Thanks to all the coders! Just now I'm teaching Blender to a close friend of mine, and one of her first questions was: "That's great, but how do I undo the change I just made?". So it's especially good for newbies, who sometimes get scared when they accidentally scr...

Yeah, I use it all the time too! Sometimes, when I start a project, and most of what I do is modelling, I use the latest CVS version for the latest tools, but when I need to do more and more renders, I always revert to your optimized version, because it is *very* fast. Whenever there's a new release...

Thanks for this newest build! The one thing I gotta ask is this: will there ever be a newer Blender version that can make executables from game .blends? Because I've only just realized the possibilities of the standalone creater, and I don't want to have to load up the old 2.25 version whenever I ne...

Wow! This looks very promising. Something I had been looking for, in fact. Now all we need is a HDRI map made at the location, and the objects will truly fit in!

Hey, Happy Birthday!!! Greetings from Hungary!

Ton: Just a little personal question about the manuals: does the number of books that were shipped include the ones ordered from Amazon.com? Or are those going to be shipped later? (just to know how much I need to wait... :)

Actually, I like the Blender axes-system the best. I always think of the coordinate system so that the x and y axes (or is it axii?) are on the ground, so x is width and y is length, and then z is the 3rd extra dimension: height. This is sort of the way the world works: you move about in the two dim...

This is what I first thought of when reading about the ATI Radeon 9700. It's got this function when the redndering outputs of eg. RenderMan, 3DMax are converted on the fly to instructions the GPU (VPU=Video Processing Unit, as ATI likes to call it) of the Radeon can process, basically meaning that t...
