Feature request: local view uses local axis

A suggestion: When in "local view" - could the objects local axis' be used as reference (for mesh, curve, armature etc). This would enable one to easily edit the object in local plan/side/front view without having to rotate it square to the global axis' then re-rotate it back to fit the scene. Any com...

The idea I illustrated above was to simplify the window display, as, if you have a fully rigged character the bones display becomes extremely full. The idea of a self generating hierarchical structure would(I feel) greatly reduce editing time.

bones display information suggestion

Just an idea for enhancing character animation: In editmode, when displaying selected bones - I think it would be a good idea to have a hierarchical display. eg.child bones become a secondary tree branch which can be expanded or collapsed. This would make the display and usage much easier to underst...

windows build

Hi Chris

Thanks for compiling your release for mandrake.
The changes you've implemented are very cool.
I was just wondering if you were going to compile for windows.

All the best, keep up the good work.

VRML2 export

Just wondering if anybody knows of (or/is working on) an export to vrml2 that includes all the features. Camera positions, textures, animation etc.
I've tried a number of scripts (latest wrl2_export.py) but they seem a bit limited and buggy.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

unoffical release dependancies

Hi Chris,

Are there any additional dependancies required for the above (extra to NAN's Publisher )?

I'm running mandrake 9 - NAN's works Ok, yours doesn't.

Your work to extend Blender is much appreciated.

All the best.
