I just downloaded Code Blocks myself as an IDE to compile and debug Blender within, it would be cool to get some more info on it in this thread as well! I got Blender compiled using SCONS with the create tutorial here... http://mediawiki.blender.org/index.php/BlenderDev/SconsRefactoring#Scons.2FMing...

This is probably why it should be an option, so that silly people like me can work the way we are used to without having to force the option on others :)

> An animator would never want a camera 'locked' to a target. We use this all the time for our interactive work... it makes tracking the camera to an object extremely easy. Having it as an optional property of the camera, without having to manually set it up, would make a lot of sense to me. Even wh...

Bellorum,

The icons are definitely improved!

Could you also try creating a new Hand icon?

I think a competition to design new icons for Blender ( and for Blender to allow for custom icons as a theme ) would be a great idea!

> thought it would be cool to have a console inside blender... maybe as a new window type.. Now, that WOULD be cool! Especially when debugging Pythons scripts etc. I think there is an option in Windows ( and probably other OS's ) API to open a window as hidden, maybe this could be an option after al...

Major respect to all who helped with updating the GE ( including Kester, who got it jump-started ). Now that all the GE users will be using the same ( latest ) version, we'll see a lot more very cool Blender games! Previously, there were many different builds, each using different ( much older ) ver...

hehe, I agree with this, but many don't.

Remember, expert Blender users don't make mistakes, and accidently quit the app :)

This should definitely be in as an option, and turned on by default.

Prepare for a lot of replies stating otherwise!

You could offer the Orange team some time on the renderfarm.

I think they have already secured all the time they need, but maybe they could render certain sequences using your farm?

This patch, however, is not finished yet, so you cannot choose in what kind of space a primitive should be created. That has been asked for SO MANY TIMES! Many newbie and experienced ...
