looks okay, but you should remove the bars that go from the central icons to the radial menu entries : it makes me think I need to activate face select to acces the "add" menu. The menu should be small enough to allow it being called close to the edge of the screen. I guess the mouse pointer will be...

Let me give my feeling about your work broken. First: I appreciate your efforts in trying to "humanize" and "efficientize" Blender's interface (though it might be needless to say: that will make some people very nostalgic of the 1.8 UI : some evolve and others, well, [looking for a polite way of say...

okay, I got carried away about the disgusting part... What I meant was that pixelbox was already offering something, and even more: asking the expectations of the user, but yet, some came and told him what he specifically had to do. It's like a mother offering a lego to her kid and the kid takes it,...

Hum, I just want to post a general comment about feature requests... The argument "Hey! don't make blender look like Wings, XSI, Maya etc... "doesn't make sense! Indeed, it's not about making blender look like another sof, it's about having efficient tools closer. What's the point in saying: "hey I ...

Hi, I use cugwin gcc with the following instructions in the line where there's "O2" in compile.make I replace -O2 by -O3 (badbadbad ;) this can cause glitches and random crashes but not for me :]) and i add to the same lines (c and cc), the following: -mcpu=athlon-xp -march=athlon-xp you can also ad...

Topic: Exp/Range as controllable Post-Render tool?

yes, indeed, that was what I was thinking... I read somewhere that Blender used the full range in calculation but clipped things back to [0;1] afterward... And the exp/range buttons are meant to deal with this I think (to avoid too much burning, etc...) I think an HDRI output could be very useful to...

Exp/Range as controllable Post-Render tool?

Before I start the whole description of the proposal, I'd like to know how the Exp/Range and gamma settings are applied when rendering... is it post-process? Does Exp-Range just do some kind of clipping or something like that on the end result of the calculation of a pixel or is it linked to the dee...

What I'm talking about is that when I do so the nothern hemisphere gets more heavily deformed on a side of the mesh and it's the opposite side that is strangely deformed in the southern hemisphere.

BTW, when I try to rotate verts around local axes, the selection rotates but shrinks too...

PET Scaling Strange behaviour... bug or feature?

With CVS, Do the following: ADD>> UVSphere select the two pole vertices, activate PET and then Skey and scale down ==> the uvsphere takes some weird (though nice) shape... but doesn't form the expected donut (or blood cell) form.... for me this is a bug... but before going over to the tracker, i wan...

no - if you select two edges they stay two edges Activate the three modes simultaneously and select two opposite edges of a face... you'll understand what I mean. From a recent message un bug tracker we learn that the selection of super-elements when sub-elements are selected is the default (and wa...
