Hello! interesting concept. It kinda makes me think of Verse? Am I wrong? I have 56k so i haven't yet downloaded the movies. Are your project and Verse incompatible concpet-wise? Because, since Eskil and Ton seem to see blender's futur in verse, this could be a start... but I may completely off topi...

Hi!

If you want to close a curve hit "Ckey".
If you want to join to seperate curves, slect the end points to join and hit F.

Did that solve the problem?

you should ask further question at elysiun!
www.elysiun.com

Good luck!

Ciao

or Level of detail for 3Dview... since blender's 3d view doesn't use much coloring in wireframe mode, is could be a good solution to clean up the viewports... no?

Hi, I was posting a reply yesterday when the server crashed :)

anyway... the script doesn't seem to work... on 2.31 there's an error message, on 2.33-python2.22 nothing happens. no error message, no action...

should I try to link blender against python 2.3?

Yes, for the new comers, I think sticking to the internal renderer is a good solution... rendering with GI and etc... sure it's cool and shiny, but that doesn't make pics good. Learning the internal renderer is a great time saver and it lets you sooo much space for creativity. No really, IMHO, there...

Yeap, when you're used to the Z-buffer, RT seems like it takes forever, even if just takes a few seconds more to trace the shadows, indeed :] I'm stil wondering how an app such as Cinema 4D (I tested the 5th version, before that new RT they incorporated) and already, there RT was blazingly quick on ...

Hello! dcuny, your explanations are quite interesting! But is there a reason for blender's RT being slow? of course it depends on the type of scene... but only tracing transparent shadows takes sometimes forever. Is it a matter of optimization of the RT functions or is it that the current rendering ...

Hello... PART 1 - ABOUT WINGS AND BLENDER First of all may I remind that wings has this very cool feature called "Tweak" This is, you have your objet and a two-view set (that's my way of doing it). One of these views is the normal Wings editing mode, the other is set to "tweak". In this tweak mode, ...

[inconsistencies]THE RT and the ancient features....

Hi! I've been digging quite deeply into blender lately... I think the latest develloppements have gone sooo fast rendering-wise, that in places consistency has been lost. Please double check if you have time cause, even if honestly i don't think so, I may be doing something wrong. Let's take for exa...

ehe, it surely is a matter of tastes, so i doesn't matter so much. There surely isn't a need for such cascades of boxing as in the first pic on your site. I mean, there's the Transform tab, and there are the position/rotation/scale subtabs... It's just about the form, nowhere else in blender there a...

hum...

maybe with a further analysis of the AO...
do a quick AO sampling and then build a better AO layer by rebuilding the gradients (they , zbuffer aware...)... oh, It could become complicated no?

Hey, that's the second method I was thinking of =)
Doing all the computation per ray and not altering the mesh.
I was also trying to figure out if it could be done with the scanline, without RT?

Indeed, the layout is only a UI problem, but it shouldn't be overlooked neither. They hierarchy solution as you both exposed is a good thing. But I don't think it should use the same tabs as the rest of blender. They eat too much space. The groups should be: -collapsable -discrete (shouldn't eat up ...
