Thank you for explaining that OTO. :)

I had that suspicion Stiv, I just didn’t know if the GE did that or not, is there any way of changing that? Making it a multi-thread? I know it has to get the power somehow to make simulations with like 10k rigid bodies in it.

Particle bake doesn’t work

I cant bake properly, I make a particle simulation and I make it disk cache and I make a name and press bake, when program gives me is a bunch of random particles popping up here and there. When I run it before the bake there is a nice smooth stream. How do I fix this?

Bge slow on and 8core cpu?

Ok this makes no sense to me, I have a new (just build it myself) computer with two geforce gtx 660 ti graphics cards in sli, a 8 core amd cpu and I have cuda and physx installed but the bge only used about 20% max of my cpu and slows the game down when a lot of things are being animated. I use task...

The physics type doesn’t seem to matter much. i know the objects that are colliding are parented to another object, would that cause a problem?

Just a thought, have you tried to pack the textures you use for the ‘text’ in to blender? And your in texture mode when you export it?

Collision sensors don’t work for static objects?

I have a few bge objects that are set to static and have collision sensors. I want to make a chain reaction between them but they are not responding when they bump in to each other. How to I fix this?

Copy and past animation?

I want to make an animation and duplicate it to several places for it to run in bge. I found that when the animation plays it returns the object to the location that it was animated. Is there a way to record the animation then make it play back in local coordinates?

Trying to make an animation through bge, need help

I recorded a physics animation in bge, and want to duplicate it and place it in several different locations (say around 10k places). I can record the animation and get it to run again in the game engine but it jumps back to its original location. How would I change the location of the object so that...

Physics help!!!

Ok I have a large physics simulation and it relies heavily on the physics deactivation property. Only one problem, I need to change the values of it during the simulation, I need it set high at points to make certain objects to sleep, (allowing my computer to run faster and more accurate simulation ...

Well I did create a pretty good imitation of lava with the fluid simulator you just need to get the settings right. Just to put it in my way of thinking, lava is more of a fluid then it is thousands of individual particles. Try looking up blender tutorials on YouTube.  Here is one on lava lamps may...

Oh boy, software, that’s a bit over my head lol, sorry, Im sure it can be done, have you tried in the python or interactive 3d folder? They deal more with software and creating simulators, sorry I couldn’t help, I’m good with the fluid simulator. Although if you’re trying to make a lava flow o...

Curves help!

I’m trying to make a slide that a ball can roll down in the game engine. The problem is the turns, they rotate out so the ball flies off the slide how do I control what direction the path/curve tilts?

Rendering problem

I’m having trouble with the blender rendering systems. I can only render smooth video under 30% 1080P, other wise it is very choppy. Here I have a AVI Raw format 720p video. I just built this computer, 3.2 GHz quad processor, 32GB of ram with a 64-bit OS, and a galaxy GeForce gtx 660ti video card. I...

Try this if you have windows (don’t have a mac so I would not know how to instruct you on that), in the system console, in the top left corner click on the command prompt symbol. In the drop down click properties. Go to the layout tab and in the screen buffer box increase the height setting. The hig...
