the concept is that its much easier to move the viewport than to move/rotate the camera. The continuous rendering option is good but its not the same thing...is there an addon to do this? that would be helpful.

Render viewport option

I'm not sure if it already exists. What I want to do is render the current view in the viewport(the one my mouse is in when I press F12). This function is there in 3ds max by default, when ever u press the render button in 3ds max, it always renders what ever u have in the viewport, if its side view...

explain more properly...you make a cube, now you subdivide, it works. Then you subdivide again and it doesn't. Is that the problem? If so, I've never faced it. maybe you're doing it wrong. First select the cube, now press "tab", now press A to select everything in the object, now press "W", now sele...

increase number of samples to 9,000.
You'll find it in "sampling" in the render tab on the right side menu.

I don't recall autocad exporting to gcode or .obj etc...It was only STL it could do I think...And that's all you need. The machine probably already came with a software which most probably accepts .STL format , which is a very very widely used format. The software will convert the stl file into what...

press X, Y, or Z after pressing R. I know that, but it only allows for rotation along the global axis which is not enough for animation because therefore rotation around the normal axis is helpful. Can't say I know how to fix it, but the first place I'd look is at the rotation section of the Transf...

I think he has a valid point. blender is horrible for people who come from 3ds max etc.... I mean I was used to doing stuff slowly and using the mouse mostly and almost never use hotkeys...But in blender everything is done using hotkeys and its almost impossible to find the toolbars otherwise... by ...

The next release separates user prefs and the default scene. The usual cause for Blender crashing is running out of memory while rendering. There is a limit to what a 32 bit system can access. didn't get it... does it crash cuz its not a 64 bit program or does it only crash when u dont run it on a ...

Re: autosave wish

Hi Guys! Blender crashes many times us we know. I have an idea, i dont know is it good or bad, but here it is: Maybe a new autosave function could be cool, like this: if the mouse movement is stop then it saves (and it is not repeat the save until you start move the mouse and stops again). I was wa...
