objects not created in the correct plane?
if I create a new object (mesh, plane etc etc) in say the front viewport, I expect the object to be created on the z-x axes, but it gets created on x-y axes. is there a way to fix that? like in 3ds max, if I create a plane on the front viewport, it gets created in z-x axes as opposed to x-y axes reg...

If you got two images, 800x300 and 300x400, they will get different scale factors. 800x300: 800 / 10...

Ok, I spent some time thinking about a solution and the easiest by now appeared to be to add an operator, which lets the user rescale images to a pixels-per-unit factor, so based on the source's pixel size. Here's the addon i wrote: http://www.pasteall.org/39590/python The calculation is simple, Bl...

Well, if you would place the plane containing the image behind the model, you would not need to worry about the plane being transparent, would you? What I'd do, using the dimensions in the other, related thread, if I were going to insist on using planes, and using the dimensions given in your other...

need some help ! transparency for reference image plane ? ?
okay, so I have setup reference image planes to model a car. problem is, I need it to be semi-transparent to see if the vertices are in the right place... so how do I make it semi-transparent?
