Something about RT #, ctrl, its too much for my little brain.

[ edit - various pointless things deleted ]

Uhhhh..... I just figured out that if you hit TAB when you are in UV Face selection, you get taken directly into Mesh Edit mode.

Which of course has everything.

Well, this is a useless thread.

Why is Mark Seam in the MESH editing?

(Trying to do UV one more time... Thanks GreyBeard for that tutorial!) Seams aren't for anthing except UV editing, right? Makes far more sense for it to be in UV Face Mode (not UV Face Selection). When you're editing UVs and trying to get the seams and pinning right, etc, you're not going to want to...

I haven't seen the error message listing a particular vertex - the ability to see the actual number would be useful for that of course. Having played around with some looping stuff recently, I'm seeing the point of what you're talking about now! I still wouldn't want to have to deal with the numbers...

cons: someone has to do it. Ya, I know. Wish I was up to it. Unselectable objects seem like a good idea. I'm not sure about unselectable verteces-> how do you make them selectable again? Locking (pinning) any part is a good idea. Be it object, material setting or vertex. Implementation should be 'e...

I said 3 3. I hope the Proportional Editing Tool (O) will have constraints someday too. Not 2. ;) Martin i guess some people dont know that you have allready added this feature ;) You did? Wow, retroactive request fulfilment! I was talking about axis constraints of course. I assume that is p...

Required Python version not stated

The 2.36 version of the CMS has some awesomely organized information and beautiful screenshots. One vital oversight, to the people frequently reading this forum, however... Nowhere (obvious or searchable) does Blender3d, nor blender.org state which version of Python you should use. Its not on the Re...

I've never actually been figure out how the turntable option makes a difference. What is ctrl-alt mousewheel supposed to do? It just zooms in my default setup (Win-2.36) I love the way you can spin around any axis so easily in fact. Most others that I've seen you have to go somewhere to click on a b...

Not sure how this would make sense. Vertices (as far as I understand it) already have a unique number - otherwise the program couldn't distinguish what you're doing - its probably a large integer. Scripts are the only (advanced) user-accessible way to touch this number. Exposing it to the user's vie...

proposal: various tools and options

(Ok, I finally found the feature request tracker again, but thought I'd update this message to include some other ideas/things I found myself wishing for. But I'd rather see if anyone else had thoughts before putting in an actual request) 1. Smooth-With Constraints. Limit smoothing in or to X/Y/Z on...

Wow, looks impressive. On first glance it looks like there's some really powerful but relatively simple-to-use tools in your design. I think I might actually be able to use those NLA tools if they were interfaced like that :) The final tool for inclusion in NLA is a Bake tool. If the user is happy w...

I gotta admit, I haven't been able to get a handle on the NLA in the time I've had to sit down with it. It looks cool, but confusing.

I hope this reworking clears a lot of stuff up. I'd love to see it integrated with the softbody and/or physics like some of the other tools seem to have.
