Vertex/Edge/Face delete "functionality"

I was following a tutorial from betterspace (lightwave) about creating a starfield (whatever happened to the Blender nebula tutorial??), and it said to make a sphere and delete all the faces, leaving the vertices. Oky-doky. In Blender that would be X->Delete faces... Hey... where did all the vertice...

Ya. Even changing the TITLE of "Blender functionality forums" to something like "New Feature and Development Forums" would probably help. 30 seconds maybe? I think I saw that Bart was working on the TYPO3 version of the blender3d website, and there have been "rumours" of nuke being replaced here, bu...

I'm becoming much more fond of "multi-document interfaces" than I used to be. One container box for (multiple) document, toolbars, etc. I usually have multiple apps open at once - need them organized or I get confused! Overlapping windows... eh. Like it is now isn't too bad, although definite learni...

Glad to see you spotted the menu corruption problem, I couldn't pin down why the button displays were getting corrupted sometimes, hope this solves it. PLEASE could you put a Cancel/Ok button on the Colour Selector?????? I have accidentally hit it several times and then had to try and match up the c...

Have to say it again... I LOVE the new selection modes! Two possible further tweaks- 1-I will echo previous 'whines' about the big face dots in face mode. On tiny/far away faces, its over-powering - just a blob of amber. "Show face" toggle would be good. Still change the face colour, just without th...

I have the same problem but only when switching from window-mode to full screen mode. (Start Blender in a window, switch to full screen). Could have been - seems to be working now, although I haven't rebooted. I think it could have been something to do with MouseTool (old GPL version, auto-clicks m...

I don't think having a "minimum" resolution so high is very good. While a lot of people have a high resolution like that nowadays, with LCDs becoming more common, I understand a lot of those have a fixed resolution of 1024x728 or whatever that is. This would explain why some of the button text is so...

Is anyone else having problems with the menu system on this release? 2.34 works fine, but mousing over the File, Add etc as well as the View, Select, etc menus does nothing. No reverse, no menu, etc.

THANK YOU so much for edge, face selection and FINALLY, back-face culling!!!! :D :D Mildly Unstable - Using Win XP sp2, this build, I was playing around with a bunch of the new features (about 21000 faces, 9.5M file created on with v2.3 I think), then tried to do something like turn off solid view a...

Colour Picker suggestion

Wow, some fantastic new features and fixes, thanks all you hard workers! One thing though - can we please remember the lessons learned the hard way... put it in the users face and always give us an "out"! :-) Glad to see the new features already have some online documentation. Be really nice if it a...

Enrico - you finally got it done! Thanks dude :-) Now to see if I can get time to get at it... Ooops. Could you possibly narrow the pages a bit? Possibly shorten them too. Not sure what size you used, but when I printed it out, the right side got cut off. From IE on XP, printing to an HP laser print...

Possible bug in Local View Mode

(Local View is the mode when you hit the "/" key to show only the selected items.) It looks like zoom's auto-sizing calculation when you enter /-mode is checking for the WIDTH of the window instead of width & height. If the Blender window is too wide compared to high, you can't see most of the selec...

still using two button mouse

Yes, forced to use a two button mouse here, so if anyone is thinking of it still, please don't toss that functionality. I tried searching for the message suggesting it, looking for the response, but couldn't find it, sorry. In Ton's Raytracing version that was posted awhile ago, the "emulate 3 butto...
