Thanks Lukep. One thing I noticed is that ctrl-space (new transform hotkey) invokes Spotlight search under Tiger. BTW, is there any way to get an optimised version with the new dev tools? Unfortunately I got Tiger preinstalled and it didn't come with them. Just lookin' to up the performance a bit n...

This exact issue. Now that blender supports threads rendering surely it would be a trivial matter to spawn the render process as a complete set of new threads. Or am I talking poo? It needs some more input. What happens when you press F12 ? blender starts a backgrond job, meanwhile you alter the sc...

Doing like you suggest would make it pure hell for tutorial developers ... "Now press the ... the ... well, the key that you have assigned to the Grab translational hotkey." ?? So you sugest keeping it in this shape ? Just make a button for all features and list them inside of a window like "forgot...

remember all, it will not be dropped. If removed it will have a chance to live again and expand with a greater amount of focus, and a whole new lease on life. This could and should gather outside support from other engines and physics plus have an effect of tuhopuu and test features. As it stands no...

That's not a bug, that's called clamping values to useful ranges where the effect is predictable and not buggy. Martin Soo it is a feature... *yay another developer controlled thought* It's not a predictable feature its a curse how does taking away control of a value I specificly inputted in a good...

If we would actually have a useful implementation of normal maps.. Flat normal mapping, whew.. Eh ? Rasie surface detail right minus mesh amount and displacement nneeded for flat surface = faster fake detail. So I tried that and it partly works but now I find bugs and these are bugs I cant w...

Normal and Bump map oddities

These are found from my testing of rendering of current CVS and is not question of of how and why, I will post that at Elysiun, for here I just need to acknowledge that this is real. Bump mapping, if you record a keyframe the slider of the nor slider at 25.00 and hit render the slider will jump back...

bfvietnam your method sounds good, but as you know it cant happen unless someone does it. Trying to get the method accross without proof is like saying snails taste good if you justr look at them crawing in dirt ... :P So if it is a good idea, then you should try and build parts that could really be...

Look, this threat is about how to attract coders. Not how to distract coders. And further note it is that kind of snide talk that knocks people away from blender development. But thats just you and I can understand and handel it, but some others might not. You are out of line here. Theeth is by far...

FYI, the widge is located in transform_manipulator.c majorly with some higher level calls...
