with "mesh.getFromObject(obj.name, 1)" I think you get only
the mesh data from the object, not the object.

so it's not linked to any object.You have to link it with an object first:

Code: Select all

object.link(mesh)
and to link the object to the scene if it's a new one:

Code: Select all

scene = Blender.Scene.getCurrent()
scene.link(object)

x ascotan: I dont think the ipochannels must have the bone names.They work perfectly now. For example(continuing the above code) act_list = act.getAllChannelIpos() ...give a dictionary and for every bone we can get its ipo: for bone in arm.bones.values(): ip_bone_channel = act_list[bone.name] ip_bon...

there is an getAction() in the Object module and the Armature
is an object....

Code: Select all

for obj in Blender.Object.Get():
   arm = obj.getData()
   if type(arm) == Blender.Types.ArmatureType():
       if arm.name == "Arm001":
           act = obj.getAction()
           print act

ascotan wrote:The animation api is almost done. There is a pose module which will allow you to pull the tranform matrix from the pose directly. It's not available yet though :9
Great news!!! :lol: When it will be available? Is there any build

-You are not uv mapping the object that way.Must use the image window
(shift+F10) load an image, select faces you need to map and press F over
3d window then U to select the UV.
This kind of mapping is exported by .x exporter.(and the material
color,alpha,specularity)
