TODO (for version 1.2) * Create bones when importing Wouldn't it be good to make an option for importing a bvh on a ready armature(from compatible scripts), so you could make several actions for one armature? this surely is the same idea like that one with makeHuman. But bvh-files can be very diffe...

thanx. that's what i meant. there could be an option to do this in some menu anything like auto-relative paths. And, there could be an unified project managment directory system, like one directory in which there are the subdirectories Scenes,Scripts,Textures(ResourcePictures),Sounds,Render. I have ...

i have this problem: i have a project with external scripts and scenes in other / subdirectories. i haven't found any way how to link the files with relative paths. It would allow the python and other projects, which almost all have troblesome setup of paths have all the necessary files stored in th...

Blender as a Vj-ing tool

the libraries for softimage are done so that you don´t have to scroll a lot. Blender still doesen´t have a optimal way to acces thumbnailed libraries(materials, presets, scripts, models, ...). I agree that it would be a waste of resources right now, but why not to add this feature on the end of the t...

tracking software
I have recently searched all possible softwares which are capable of motion tracing from video, usually they aren't implemented in the 3d package(which would be great, becaouse you wouldn't have to convert the motion data). There's 1 free tool for motion tracking. Dgeeme from geeware.com. This softw...

two calculation times
Hello, how about making the number of particles during the editing lower(maybe an option in % of the resulting ones), the rest could be computed during/before rendering?

in this thread is another idea about what could be called "muscle chain", and would be very useful for advanced rigging if a separate type of bone chain.

Muscles done via Bones
I have an idea how to make an simple simulation of muscles, i´ve tried it in Si-XSI and 3dsmax, and it works quite fine. It can be done, when :1)the starting and ending bone(root-effector) can be linked to various bones in tha armature(e.g.arm-ellbow) without braking the chain. 2)the length of the m...
