I just want to ask if there is any progress with the plugin interface of Blender GE, and if there is someone thinking about making a direct connection to OGRE from Blender(like CrystalBlend). The demos of the engine are just great....

If we're already writing things down - shapekeys - would be really usefull armatures - would i think need a new code(as far as i've heard it's the same as in blender inernal) maybe some kind of optimisation would be good - eg only 2 vertex groups per vertex support, or some kind of this limitation. ...

I use sometimes blender sequence editor on windows, and also, very few video formats can get in, the same problem. But some cvs builds(get them on this forum in testing builds section)have a new ffmpeg integration and also some very good memory optimizations...

tested the build, works good and the normalmappig looks perfectly.i had trouble with the lamborghini test, the car doesnt accelerate.

why don't you use the subdivision modifier on the resulting mesh?(Editing-modifiers-add new) I'm not sure if this is in 2.40, i use the current cvs version, but it works nice, yes, you can still notice the original mesh topology, but it's a little better... :)
