I've always run up against the problem of building accurate bodies and I think what the professionals do is buy the models and change them. So you might find someone who makes good bodies and do a tutorial on body modifications.. I'm thinking my strength is more in working with the objects than maki...

Are you viewing the webpage on a 640x480 screen, that would explain the problem you are seeing. i'm browsing at 1024*768, but that's irrelevant. The forum is of flexible width, so screen size shouldn't matter, and wouldn't matter if you used proper paragraphs. what if you needed to go back and chan...

Well I could change my habits, I recognized that by extending doing a carriage return than follwing that with a number of backspaces to re-adjust the text was producing some of the problem. Maybe I was not considering what was being said, but I was also frustrated that I had gone to the trouble to p...

you know, if you didn't try to format your own text by pressing [enter] all the time, you messages would be half as long. try it now, edit your message and remove all the unneccessary enters. see how much more readable it is? later BEAT Are you viewing the webpage on a 640x480 screen, that would ex...

The Big Idea I had Moved to My Site..
I'm taking some of Ton's suggestion that I move my big topics off to my site to free up visual space in the message areas, and give people the option to read my messages should they choose.. http://www.bl3nder.com/ideas/crafterconcept.html This one was pertained to use of Crafter in blender, or use ...

I was quite suprised to see how much I wrote, I'm starting to wonder if my evil twin is getting into it while I sleep.. There is this whole side to my psychy that is bugging me a bit, the feeling that anything that is not straightforward and correct is evil, I mean as far as development goes and pro...

You probably have to use Blender 2.23 with Python 2.0 + installed.. I am using this configuration to use the Wings object converter. The current versions of blender don't have complete Python API's. Although that may have changed in the last couple of months without me knowing about it, which is typ...

Super interface
It was easy to pickup within a few minutes.. Shaped connectors is a nice touch, also the Spline-connectors. IT was a bit slow on my laptop, but you did say this is for OpenGL which means you would need a fast graphics card. I tried it out on my faster machine with the Radeon, and it worked like a ch...

http://www.bl3nder.com/tutorials/ Is a snippet of some 6 gigs of tutorials I've already done, but am planning to have another go through to determine what can be done to make them better.. I am in the middle of completing a tutorial for a program for the CDC called "Breakthrough." So I'm in the mids...

heh, so it is about money. Not enough interest I would assume is why there are so few developers. More developers is needed. I guess cash would solve that. But can you ever get enough, cause it always runs out . ^o^ If its well architected, it will be possible to have it done on time and in the bud...

Ton's number 3 point is a good one.. I was going to comment in my last message on that one, but I erased a lot of my message as it wasn't relevant I thought to kflich's message.. I would say, when I was at UNM, I was wanting the CS department there to develop blender as a part of a education process...

so what you are proposing is actually pay-per-feature. sounds very productive and i for one will be more tha happy to donate, but a few problms may rise from this : 1) uneqal development : the number of people who use the game engine is far less then the one that use blender for rendering\animation...

Here's the article, FYI http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/26125.html (huge rant removed) Things should be openly discussed, Microsoft will always be against open discussion, but for several reasons: To satisfy investors, to slow down competition, to allow for fair competition. However I believ...

Here's the article, FYI http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/26125.html Microsoft was the same people who funded a campaign to stop pirating of Windows in Europe and covered it up with a anti-pirating campaign to say essentially "it doesn't pay to pirate". Actually it pays federal officers and eu...
