Yeah, I know about CTRL Z, but it works kind of erratic. Sometimes it does update, some other it doesn't. That's why I'm calling atention to it :-) What do you think about the other suggestions ? Cheers malefico EDIT: OK I think I figured out what is going on. The Shaded Mode from the viewport contr...

Several "everyday's work" feature proposals

Hi, These things are needed in common film production, I think these are more or less simple to add... who knows... 1- Timecode stamping in render (it could be timeline or frame number) 2- Pinning of UVs. Not only "LSCM" pinning, I mean real pinning, so pinned UVs won't move when arranging other UVs...

You probably still have your walkcycle action selected in the Action Editor. Unlink your action from the armature so the NLA takes control of it. Actions in Action Editor will always override any NLA animation.

BTW, 90 frames for a cycle ????!!!!

I found that the "Lens/Clipping" menu doesn't pop up when trying to insert a keyframe for camera, in edit buttons, in my linux CVS build. Is this happening in the windows build too ?

Cheers.

for showing up in the menus, it has to be in a particular folder [which I conviently forgot]
It's just the folder you entered in UserPreferences->File Paths -> Python.

Mabe that will be my next exercise (Python vertex parenting) Could be used to make dynamic fur plugin??? You bet it could ! I alrady did that parenting by hand a simple armature, (a real pain my friend), to animate feathers and it workied like a charm. Now I'm writing a script to automatize the pro...

Parenting to faces... possible ?

I've been surfing the docs, and AFAIK there is no way to parent an object to a face thru Python right now.

Is there any coder working on this ? It would be great for scripts like Beast to parent to a face instead of to an object.

Does anybody else think this is a good idea ?

Cheers

I also wish Blender could select edges/faces in a single click instead of having to select individual vertices (like Wings does it). Well, maybe not exactly like Wings, but, you know, you CAN select edges. 1- Keep CTRL+ALT pressed when clicking on an edge 2- Keep SHIFT to add selections. Or ALT+B t...

I said this at elysiun, but I'm so happy I don't mind repeating it here. This is great. UV Editor is now something very similar to what I dreamed a few months ago (Monkeiboy will understand me). Seams are a perfect way to organize face selections too, not only for LSCM. I wanted face groups (instead...

OK, forget the whole thing, I'm an ignorant beast :D Bjornmose told me this piece of information: Unwrapping ALREADY takes into account Cursor location. Only thing you need is to place the cursor in the group_you_want_to_map's center, and use Cursor Reference as you do with rotate/scale. Voilá. It w...

AFAIK those options are the same than Tuhopuu's. Originally they were called like that in the U menu, now they are in the edit buttons (see screenshot highlighted buttons). I'm actually using those options for the given examples. Cheers. EDIT: I have edited the page to (hopefully) clarify the proble...

Problem and suggestion for unwrapping in TUHOPUU

I have written a small page describing a common problem I found in CVS Tuhopuu regarding unwrapping of meshes, and also a workaround and suggestion to improve it. It might be helpful for Bjornmose, Blendix and the guys working with the UV Editor nowadays, or it could be something that I just didn't ...

Going back to the main subject of this thread, a friend of mine suggested to me that it would be great if Time IPO curves could be applied to video sequence strips, so you can manage stretching in time, stops, reverse playing by editing some IPOs.

What do you think ?

Cheers.
