Could anyone compiled Blender in 64 bits linux ?

I wonder if there are any changes in the scons files needed to compile in 64 bits linux systems. Has anyone here tried and succeeded ?

Thanks in advance

Regards

malefico.

Hi, I've compiled it myself today and yup, it still crashes. I do this, create an armature, select a couple of bones (clicking in the middle of the bone, not the tips), then press L with mouse over armature -> Segfault. Regards malefico. EDIT: Funny, it doesn't happen all the time, I'll keep testing...

Feature proposal: Anchor IPO

Hi, I thought about this feature to help synchronized animation of multiple objects. Take a look at this picture: http://malefico3d.com.ar/wip/anchor-idea.jpg Basicly the thing is to have a "per IPO window" button, which when ON, would automatically resize all IPO windows with this flag to the same ...

Now that we can select objects being in posemode, maybe the way for TARGET selection for CONSTRAINTS thru mouse clicking is half-pavemented ! (God knows how I hate to type long object names when clicking on object would be so comfortable instead...) :) BTW, can anyone point me to some place where "m...

Yes, as Martin said, I'm talking about good old bone/object constraint (trackto, IKsolver, copylocation, etc). Just wondering if there is anyone working on it. :) I was thinking about a script which takes the Stride value of walkcycle NLA strip, and then creates empties along the path, add CopyLoc c...

OK OK, now I see what was the problem, view was misleading. Using SHIFT+V to align view shows it correctly. Sorry for scaring you ! :D

Hum... then, it is broken (?). I have compiled from CVS and it only works for scaling vertices... :? I assume it DOES work in your system... have you checked ?

Thanks Gabio as always !

I'm trying to figure out how to move a vertex constraint to a plane using the widgets. Apparently it only works for scaling (I mean planar constraint using SHIFT key).

Is it so ? :?

PS: BTW, the normal alignment JUST ROCKS !!!

Thanks for the builds ! I've been playing around with my favourite feature so far, the timeline. One thing missing there is the ability to surf easily between markers. It would be great if you could, for instance, keep ALT pressed plus CURSOR arrows and you could navigate from one marker to another....

Thanks gabio for thebuild ! I was waiting for local axis constraint since day one, now I wonder, where is it ? I tried adding constraints to my bones but I can't find anythin around about local axis. Any clue ? Regards malefico. EDIT: OK, I figured it out, it just directly copy the local axis rotati...

I have tried iblender2 in a small network and found the following issues: 1- iblender2 creates a folder filename.blend as in the docs, however, this folder is created in such a way that cannot be access by anyone, (including root !). Only workaround I found was manually creating it before start rend...

That would reaaaallly please me :D Since everybody is adding feature requests to your proposal... here goes mine: I always wanted lattice and armature animation could work together (simultaneously) on character animation.
