Ender makes some good points about the interface. Maybe (at least for the time being) you should give your project a different name than Blender and just focus on making a simplified "Blender compatible" program. Then you don't have to worry about implementing every feature exactly the way that Blen...

More moral support

I've got some more moral support for you :D There was a thread a while back on consolidating some of the related commands into dropdown menus, etc... I'll see if I can find it... Here it is, I think: http://www.blender.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=799 You may need to (or w...

so is anyone working on it or not?

So is anyone working on the export feature or not? If it's as easy as you say I hope that someone can "just do it" (tm) :) I too would really love to be able to save to other formats as easily as I save to .blend. I've been SLOOOOOWLY getting into coding - and peeking into the Blender code, but I ha...

I know what I'm doing next week...

I have a feeling I'll be a little distracted at work next week... Thanks everyone!!

P.S. Which should I play with first: Blender 2.26, iPhoto 2, iMovie 3, or iDVD 3? Decisions decisions...

I'm really new to Blender, and am not at all familiar with any of it's features beyond basic modeling, so when I read this I really had to wonder what Blender needs OpenAL for? I'm guessing it has to do with adding audio to animations, game sound, etc... Has Blender used OpenAL in the past, or is th...

It looks like a lot of these products are made by a division of LogiTech. You can browse all their products here: http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/ I use the SpaceMouse Plus at work, and I think it's awesome (the website above was written on the bottom of it). It would be great to have support of...

I don't get it

I'm sorry, but I don't get your interface. I think it's a great idea to build blender so it can work with multiple interfaces, but what is this picture showing?

Can we update Version Tracker?

Does anyone know who would have the authority to update versiontracker.com to show Blender Publisher 2.25? The only Blender download listed is Blender Creator 2.23-a.01.

Doesn't really matter to me

Doesn't really matter to me, as long as I can open it (haven't found anything yet that I can't)

Does Stuffit Expander work with .tar.bz2 files, or do you need to use a command line utility?

I also have no problem running 2.23 or 2.25 on OS X 10.2.1, but I don't know how to use it well enough to comment on the speed. I'm looking forward to an updated build (whenever that may be). The use of GCC 3.1 and improved OpenGL in 10.2 should speed things up. 10.2 may be a requirement for furure ...
